The Allsvenskan season launch event will take place at Arlanda airport on Wednesday the 21th of March and the Superettan season launch event will be held in Gothenburg on Monday the 26th of March. This year a few news will be added to the events.
”We have been listening to previously comments from media, fans and our partners”, says Kaveh Sarvari, responsible for the event development at the Swedish football league.

The season launch events are the big annual season up for Allsvenskan and Superettan. It is a great opportunity for media to get close to the teams and players and to gather relevant information about the clubs for the coming season. This year we have developed the concept by offering everyone Sweden to join the stage program by broadcasting the entire evening in Swedish television.

The Allsvenskan season launch event will for the first time be an evening event starting with a club fair where the media is offered to talk with players, coaches and staff from the clubs. In the evening tv company C More will be broadcasting the stage program where all the club coaches and one player from each club participate.

”This is a chance for all our fans and all other people interested in football to experience the season launch event and to know more about the teams before the season kicks off. Previously, this has been a daytime event when many potential viewers and followers have been at work or at school. Now, together with C More, we offer them our own evening of extended coverage of Allsvenskan. Afterwards Media is offered a ”mixed zone” where they can meet the players or coaches to talk about the upcoming season.” says Kaveh Sarvari.

The Superettan season launch event will this year be held in Gothenburg instead of Stockholm to make the travel easier for many of the clubs in the second division since most of them belong in the Swedish west coast anyway.

At both the events, coaches, players and staffs from the current clubs in Allsvenskan and Superettan will participate. The events is also looking forward to welcome our referees, partners and media, as well as representatives from the Swedish football league and the Swedish FA.
