Around 50 representatives responsible for business and sustainability from elite clubs gathered in Stockholm for two days to discuss the start of the season and draw inspiration from each other.
“These days are about giving participants the opportunity to be inspired and engage in discussions about our current situation and future business opportunities, both at the league and club level,” says Jessica Linnman, Commercial Director at Swedish Professional Football Leagues.

The conference began with an overview of where Swedish Professional Football Leagues stands today and the business opportunities currently available. Discussions then followed on the upcoming 25th anniversary of Superettan and how clubs can grow together with their partners.

At the same time, separate discussions and exercises were held with the clubs’ sustainability teams.

The first day ended with league partners visiting the conference to introduce themselves and share how they and elite football work together towards common goals.

On the second day, Swedish Professional Football Leagues presented the central services available and how to best utilize them, along with discussions on growth plans.

The conference concluded with an external market analysis.
