eAllsvenskan

eAllsvenskan is Sweden’s largest professional FIFA competition where the Allsvenskan and some of the Superettan’s biggest clubs participate and settle for the title.

eAllsvenskan’s fifth season was decided in mid-May 2023 by Malmö FF becoming champions for the second time. The tournament was played with a completely new format, with stand-alone events decided in a Double Elimination format, where teams competed to win the specific event and be rewarded for it, while accumulating points to place high in the table to qualify to the final game.

The total prize pool is SEK 200,000, and in addition to the money, the winners are also awarded with Play-in places for the EA SPORTS FIFA 23 Global Series Playoffs.

Malmö’s path to the gold went via a victory against Hammarby IF in the quarter-finals with a score of 1-0 on aggregate, which they then defeated again in the semi-finals with a score of 5-3 on aggregate (HIF, as a Top-4 team, had a second chance to reach the semis, which they did via victory against Trelleborg).

The final was played in the best of three games, and the first meeting between the teams was won convincingly by MFF’s Hugo “Bauza” Borstam 5-0 against AIK’s Tom “Dyziq” Johansson. Dane Alen “Arrow” Barakovic then took another zero for the Skåne team, when he beat Emil “Lirexi04” Strängby in the second game, and the matter was settled.
