Starting this season, fans can vote for the Goal of the Month in Allsvenskan and Superettan.
“Goal of the Month is Swedish Professional Football League’s next step in developing interest in Allsvenskan and Superettan. The Goal of the Month engages supporters and followers of our leagues while also showcasing the creativity and skill that exists in Swedish elite football,” says Jessica Linnman, Commercial Director at Swedish Professional Football League.
Goal of the Month will thus be added to the list of monthly awards in Allsvenskan and Superettan, alongside Player of the Month and Coach of the Month. Each month, Swedish Professional Football League will select a number of nominated goals in each league, which fans and followers can then vote for in the official apps for Allsvenskan and Superettan. To vote, you need a Football Account. The Football Account is free and can easily be created in the Allsvenskan or Superettan app.
“Goal of the Month is also an opportunity for us to engage our official partners and get them to be more active as well as more visible,” concludes Jessica Linnman.
Vote for the Goal of the Month in the official apps for Allsvenskan and Superettan: Allsvenskan Live and Superettan Live, respectively.
