The nominating committee of Swedish Professional Football Leagues has gathered the clubs’ votes for the by-election regarding the chairman position in Swedish Professional Football Leagues and now proposes Jens T Andersson as the new chairman.
“We thank all the clubs for their engagement in the process, which has taken place in a good democratic spirit,” says Dennis Andersson, chairman of the nominating committee.
Jens T Andersson, who previously served as chairman of Swedish Professional Football Leagues for a year from 2021 to 2022, most recently held the role of sporting director at Neftchi Baku in Azerbaijan. Before that, he was the national team director at the Swedish Football Association.
“We have spoken with each member club, and after these conversations, we find clear support for Jens T Andersson. Therefore, we nominate him as chairman in the by-election for Swedish Professional Football Leagues,” says Dennis Andersson.
Swedish Professional Football League’s annual meeting will take place on Friday, March 21.
