Thanks to the Season Away Ticket, 1,199 supporters of clubs in Allsvenskan and Superettan have already secured their spots at all away matches for the 2025 season. Each club has the opportunity to sell 100 Season Away Tickets, and this year, passes sold out at seven of the 32 clubs.

“The demand for the Away Ticket varies between clubs, and historically, the highest demand is among the big-city clubs, which are used to having large traveling supporter groups,” says Kaveh Sarvari, Event and Private Market Manager at Swedish Professional Football Leagues.

At the end of February, clubs were given the opportunity to start selling their Away Tickets for the 2025 season. The pass grants its holder access to all of their club’s away matches during the season.

The seven clubs that sold out their Season Away Tickets for the 2025 season are:

✅ Hammarby
✅ GAIS
✅ Malmö FF
✅ IF Elfsborg
✅ IFK Göteborg

In Superettan, the top-selling club was Helsingborgs IF, closely followed by Örgryte IS. Örebro SK sold the third most way tickets in Superettan.

The Purpose of the Away Pass

The Away Tickets is designed to provide a good price and create predictability for loyal supporters who travel across the country to follow their favorite team.

  • Allsvenskan: 1,250 SEK per pass (~83 SEK per match)
  • Superettan: 1,000 SEK per pass (~67 SEK per match)

Each club keeps 50% of their Away Ticket sales, while the remaining 50% goes to Swedish Professional Football Leagues, which then redistributes the revenue evenly among the clubs in each league.

“We and our clubs value the atmosphere that our supporters create, which is why offering the Away Tickets was a natural decision when the idea was proposed. There have been requests to increase the number of passes per club, and we will investigate the potential financial and strategic consequences together with the SLO development group during the year,”Sarvari concludes.
