When the “regular” Swedish football season ends, the digital one takes over. On November 19, it is the season premiere for eAllsvenskan – this time with a completely new format where 13 participating clubs fight for the title as the country’s best on EA SPORTS FIFA 23.

Reigning champions IFK Göteborg will try to defend their title and will be challenged by AIK, AFC Eskilstuna, Degerfors IF, Hammarby IF, Helsingborgs IF, IK Sirius, Malmö FF, Trelleborgs FF, comeback IF Elfsborg and Varbergs BoIS as well as the eAllsvenskan new acquaintances Mjällby AIF and IFK Värnamo.

The eAllsvenskan is played in this fifth season with a completely new format, with independent events decided in a Double Elimination format, where the teams compete to win the specific event and are rewarded for it, while at the same time they collect points to place themselves high in the table to qualify for the final game this spring.

In total, there will be five sub-events, a mix of on-site and online – always on Saturdays. The first event will be decided at the new e-sports center FUZED in Helsingborg on Saturday 19 November, with the event and broadcast starting at 12.00.

The total prize pool is SEK 200,000, and in addition to the money, the winners are also awarded with Play-in places for the EA SPORTS FIFA 23 Global Series Playoffs.

eAllsvenskan will be broadcast via both YouTube and Twitch.

“It will be a lot of fun to kick off this fifth season of eAllsvenskan with a new exciting format – and above all that we now have the opportunity to reach out to clubs and fans and offer more events on site”, says the Project Manager for eAllsvenskan, Nicklas Mether.

The event dates for eAllsvenskan Season 5:
Saturday 19th of November, FUZED in Helsingborg
Saturday 3rd of December
Saturdat 28th of January
Saturday 25th of February
Saturday 11th of March

The exact time and venue for events 2-5 will be confirmed later, as well as when and where the final game will be decided later this spring. Teams 1-6 qualify directly for the finals, those who end up in places 7-10 play a playoff for the last two places.
