Today, the police announced that, effective immediately, they are lifting the bag ban that has been in place since the Swedish Security Service (Säpo) raised the terror threat level to level 4. When the threat level was lowered to level 3 at the end of May, the police conducted a review of the bag ban and have now decided to lift it.
Clubs that have already received a permit for an upcoming round of matches that includes the bag ban need to contact their local police authority to revise the permit.
For other clubs, the normal procedure for permit applications applies.
